Expect the Unexpected - Surprises are opportunities.
When you are open to whatever comes your way you are able to be fully present
and let go of the need to control the outcome. In this workshop you will practice techniques that will help you discover what will
happen next instead of only relying on your own pre-planned agenda.
Workshops can be ongoing, intensive or one time. You can select any combination of the workshops below or request custom workshops to
meet the needs of your organization. Private Coaching is also available for individuals who would like to strengthen their presentation,
performance and communication skills.

only express your true enthusiasm for your product or service, but also helps you discover and effectively communicate it. Both individual
and group presentations will be practiced.

This workshop introduces you to basic improvisation techniques which include theater games,
exercises and scene work designed to help you be more spontaneous, focused and aware. You will learn these skills in a fun, supportive
and non-competetitve environment that will helpyou break out of your comfort zones and explore new creative territory.

audience, co-workers and clients. In this workshop you will explore and practice expressing a range of emotions so you can effectively
communicate with and connect to your audience and have more meaningful interpersonal relationships.
Better Together - The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
This team building workshop focuses on collaboration. You will engage

Being in the moment and reacting spontaneously to what is going on around you can be a challenge.
In this workshop you will learn techniques that allow you to break through your inhibitions and freely express yourself which, in
turn, will help you tap into ideas you may normally supress or be unaware of.
Let Your Body Do the Talking - The body knows things about which the mind is ignorant.
This worksop focuses on enhancing presentation
skills by using your body to express yourself more freely and authentically. As a result, the mind and body will work in concert with
each other creating more effective and confident communication.
Building Relationships - It's better to be interested than to be interesting.

and personal, is being fully present, validating others and building trust. Techniques will be practiced that help shift your focus
from yourself to others thereby creating more meaningful relationships.

Play is not just for children. It helps adults relieve stress, learn new skills and have

you get back in touch with the childlike enjoyment of play we all once knew.

training to sharpen presentation skills, improve interpersonal relationships, manage shyness or public speaking anxiety, build
confidence, and tap into creativity and resourcefulness.

After a consultation to determine what your goals are, we will design a workshop or
worskhops to meet the needs of your organization.
"There are two types of instructors in this world: those who teach and those who become mentors. Susan is the latter of
the two. She showed me and many people like me that we could get out of our doubtful, self critical mode of thinking that tends
to paralyze us. She brought us into the here and now through a series of challenging exercises that are as much about psychological
explora-tion as they are about improvisational comedy.
Susan's class taught me skills that I will use beyond the stage
and helped me realize that I had a lot to give to myself and to others. The journey is not easy for some, but Susan helped me every
step of the way. I cannot recommend this class enough to people who want to break through their shells as much as they want to
generate laughter and applause."

"Within the first couple of weeks of taking Susan's class I became keenly aware of how those two hours a week set a positive tone
for the rest of my endeavors, both personal and professional. I was somehow "lighter on my feet" in every-thing from writing
and music to dealing with clients. More re-laxed and spontaneous, I found it remarkably easy to take risks in communcations of
all kinds and to have more fun doing so. Friends and family noticed the difference immedi-ately and have suddenly become avid
suporters of my creative aspira-tions! Susan can coax the little kid out of the most timid adult while providing astute and
gentle coaching. She is a treasure of a teacher. Quick! Take the class before the rest of the world finds her and
starts digging!

"Susan makes me feel comfort-able being me...and that's no easy task. I learned it's OK to be spontaneous, make incoherent sounds
and to freely express myself. Not only is she an excel-lent teacher, she cares. She comes prepared for each class. Do the right
thing and take this class!"

What's the Story? - Don't just retell it, relive it.
Storytelling is an invaluable skill for professionals, actors, and anyone interested
in being a better communicator. An effective storyteller brings the story to life, captures the audiences attention and makes
them relate to it. In this workhsop you will practice telling stories with a beginning, middle and end, that flow smoothly, with authenticity
and expression.
